Who Are We?

At Robi's our staff is not only friendly and helpful, but they are also extremely knowledgeable and experts in their fields. As our motto states, "Our Experienced Team and Fast Friendly Service Make all the Difference..." and it does! You can't get better quality customer service ANYWHERE.

Robi's: A History

Robi's is now in its fifth and best location in the old Nieman's Clothing Building at 100th and Gravelly Lake. We brought the first "one hour" lab into Lakewood in the early 80's. Along with our 30 plus year history with our camera dealership comes a vast collection of unusual oddities and accessories for cameras we barely remember. Robi's led the way into digital imaging and computer layout printing in the early 90's with custom scanning and restoration; we perform all of this in-house. Our current staff and management members are all geared up and educated in digital, ready to help with the ever changing needs this technology brings to the marketplace.

Here we are!
Tod Tod Wolf is your host.	Jeff Jeff first felt the pull of photography in the early 1980s. In an effort to improve his craft, he enrolled in photography classes at both Pasadena City College and Otis Parsons School of Design. Jeff then attended UCLA, taking photojournalism classes. Jeff has traveled to photography places as far away as Amazon River basin, the Uturi Forest in Uganda, the Kalahari Desert, and Bosnia. Jeff is also an avid fly fisherman.
Amber Amber is our Lab Manager, and Queen of Color. She can develop your slides, color match your prints, and in general -- perform miracles. Not only is she talented, she's also a nice, unusually calm person. She counter-balances some of the rest of us.	Dennis Dennis is a fine sales person at Robi's and all-around good guy. We'd say more about him but he's a man of few words.
Crystal Crystal is the queen of our repair department. Constant badgering is sure to get her to process your repairs faster. She is happy, energetic, and nice all of the time, even with two small children to keep her busy at home! She's addicted to good chocolate and wine, is that her secret? Just kidding about the badgering. Really. Please don't. Remember the happy thing mentioned above? nuf sed. We're lucky to have Crystal on our team.	DionDion has been a fixture in the local photographic community for over 20 years (to hear him tell it - he looks way too young to most folks.) Dion's journey has led him through the early stages of digital, through color management, and up the newest in digital photo and video capture as we know it today. Tomorrow...?
Andrew J. Andrew works with Amber in our pro photo lab. With years of photo lab experience, from film to wide-format digital printing, Andrew is a fabulous addition to the Robi's team, as well as an important figure in history.	Winfield G.Winfield, our internet sales person, has been into photography since the mid 1980's when he received two Pentax Spotmatics from his Grandfather. The first roll through netted a prize in a local photo contest. Then he took the photography class out at CWA. (Go Tarriers!) Now he is working again with all that retro used equipment at Robi's in internet sales and thinks it is just so cool. (The new equipment is cool too!)
KrystaKrysta is featured on our employee page as well. With two cups of coffee.	Kelli Kelli has taken over Sara's cartoon postion in the employee listings. Picture her with longer hair. You will find her colorful visage behind any of the counters throughout the store helping customers, showing off her long locks, etc.
Have you seen this guy behind the counter at Robi's? If so, you may also see Elvis at Lakewood Hardware. VERY helpful with photo questions, he is also one of our favorite presidents.	Robi He is overhead. He sees all.
